Entrepreneurs, Time To Go Frogans!

Back in the mid 1990s, I helped introduce in the US the first automated digital media distribution systems.

The company I was working for then (Dalet) had come up with a smart way to publish multimedia content using then-innovative web technologies.

A few challenges among many that content publishers faced every day:

  • Creative: How can I customize pages for my clients?
  • Performance: How long will it take to load a page?
  • Experience: Will my code be interpreted the same way on all browsers?
  • Security: Will my script run on all machines?

Fast forward almost 20 years, these issues remain, even joined by new ones:

  • Portable: Will it work on mobile?
  • International: Do I have to publish in English or even with Latin characters?

Don't think it's time to revisit the whole topic and come up with a new way?

A way that makes sure everyone can rapidly and easily publish content on the Internet, visible to all.

And that's precisely the ambition of the Frogans project, developed over 15 years and now in rollout. It addresses all the points I've just listed, and more.

To know more about the entrepreneurship opportunities offered by the Frogans technology, feel free to watch the presentations online at https://conference.frogans.org/, starting today at 10:30am EST.

For those of you who are in Paris today, there are a few seats left, and the conference is free of charge. It starts at 4:30pm.

See you there,
Philippe
